What Exactly is a Vape Tank and What are its Parts?
An atomizer also known as a vape tank, is the vape mod component that holds your vape juice and it houses the coil that heats up and creates the clouds. For the most part the vape tank is positioned on top of the battery. A tank is most likely made of glass with a metal top and bottoms plus a wick that absorbs the vape juice and is heated up.
Vape juice Capacity - how much the tank holds. Coil resistance - Low resistance coils produce more vapor. High resistance coil provides a good throat hit. Refilling – This can be a matter of taste, but there’s 2 types bottom fill and top fill. You should also look out for leak protection and child safety features. Adjustable Airflow - Controlling air flow in tanks allows you to change the airflow and how you take a vape hit. A sub-ohm tank will usually have a high e-liquid capacity and will be low resistance so cloud production is pretty large. A Rebuildable Tank, is made for custom built coils. More veteran or advanced vapers take their craft to another level with an RBA. Well first, you need to keep in mind how much you are vaping, a vape coil can last weeks or a month. Maintenance will keep it functioning but sooner or later you will need to replace your vape coil especially If your vape juice tastes burnt or your clouds are weak. Don’t flood the center tube! Be careful when filling, make sure your vape juice bottle has the fine tip to fill the tank. Any fill line marking should be followed, you can lose your vape juice if you overfill your tank and make a mess. Get used to having the vape juice absorb the vape tank’s wick for about 7 minutes or so. Mucky build up happens on tanks. Hot water is your friend, disassemble all the parts of the tank and run hot tap water through the tank and all its parts. Wicks can also be soaked but you must towel dry for 24 hours before using again.
